McCANN (Giant Asia Racing team) WINS TOUR DE TAIWAN 2010; HONG KONG BEST TEAM

On the day when Malaysia’s Rezuan Zainal won the final Stage Seven fronting the spectacular Taipei 101, it was David McCann who emerged as the hero of the day when he won the overall individual general classification of the Tour de Taiwan 2010.

Hong Kong national team celebrated their best ever performance in the annual Tour de Taiwan where apart from confirming their win of the king of the mountain red polka dot jersey through Choi Ki Ho, they also emerged as the best ranked overall team in the general classification.

Captain Wong Kam Po said after the prize giving ceremony that it was all down to team work and the riders should be lauded for keeping to their priority.

“It was a team effort through and through. We realised what was important and we stuck to it,” added Kam Po.
