KMC Donates Rehabilitation Buses to Support Accessible Transportation

KMC donated two rehabilitation buses to the Tainan City Government, with Group Chief of Staff Mr. Ching-Sheng Chung representing KMC at the donation ceremony and Mayor Wei-Che Huang personally accepting the vehicles. Mayor Huang expressed his gratitude to KMC for its long-term dedication to public welfare and its ongoing efforts to protect the transportation rights of disadvantaged groups.

At KMC, we believe that sustainable development goes beyond innovation and growth—it is also about giving back to society and pursuing shared prosperity. In line with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and the “Social” pillar of ESG, KMC continuously pays attention to social needs and responds with tangible action. Through this donation, we hope the two rehabilitation buses will help reduce the daily challenges faced by people with disabilities or mobility difficulties—making their medical visits, commutes, and social participation safer, easier, and filled with care and dignity.

For many years, KMC has remained committed to supporting vulnerable communities and promoting social initiatives. Our projects include training programs for individuals with developmental or intellectual disabilities, participation in the “Shoes for Love” Africa relief campaign, elderly care programs, and disaster relief efforts. Through these actions, KMC hopes to inspire more enterprises and communities to join hands in advancing social sustainability.

KMC will continue to deepen its ESG practices with innovation, responsibility, and compassion at its core—turning care into a driving force for progress. We are dedicated to linking industries, society, and the environment together, creating a more connected and sustainable future for all.
